MELISSA E. PIERRE-LOUIS is an associate at Outten & Golden LLP, where she represents employees in litigation and negotiation in all areas of employment law, including individual discrimination cases and wage and hour class actions.

Before joining Outten & Golden LLP, Ms. Pierre-Louis worked as a public interest fellow at Beldock, Levine & Hoffman LLP, where she worked primarily on labor and employment matters.

Ms. Pierre- Louis received her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. During law school, Ms. Pierre-Louis worked on labor and employment matters at Tuckner, Sispser, Weinstock and Sipser LLP, and Cohen Weiss and Simon LLP.

Ms. Pierre-Louis is admitted to the state bar of New York and the District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Ms. Pierre-Louis is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, American Bar Association and the Metropolitan Black Bar Association.
