ReNika Moore is an associate at Outten & Golden LLP, New York. She represents employees in litigation and negotiation in all areas of employment law including employment agreements, individual and class action discrimination cases, and wage and hour class actions.

ReNika has represented workers in overtime lawsuits against Duane Reade, IBM, ClientLogic, and other major corporations. With Lewis Steel of O&G, ReNika co-counseled with the NAACP LDF and Beldock Levine & Hoffman to represent African-American and Latino employees of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation for racial and national origin class action discrimination in promotions, pay, and assignments. A multi-million dollar class settlement in that case was recently approved by a New York federal district court.*

In addition, ReNika reviews and negotiates employment contracts, as well as severance agreements and other exit arrangements, for executives, financial service employees, and other professionals.

ReNika received her A.B. cum laude from Harvard-Radcliffe College and her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2003. ReNika was a clerk to the Honorable Robert L. Carter, Senior United States District Judge in the Southern District of New York from 2003-2004. She is admitted to the bars of the State of New York, the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

ReNika is a member of the National Employment Law Association and its New York affiliate, the New York City Bar Association, the American Bar Association and its Labor & Employment Section. ReNika also regularly volunteers at MFY Legal Services employment clinic.

ReNika is committed to improving economic and educational opportunities for people of color. Prior to joining O&G, ReNika worked with various advocacy organizations that serve low income individuals and communities of color, including the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, The Criminal Justice Institute at Harvard Law School, and The Greenlining Institute in San Francisco.

Currently, she volunteers with Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) as a college admissions mentor to high school students, and she serves on the board of the Resilience Advocacy Project (RAP), a legal advocacy organization that works with youth in New York City to end intergenerational poverty. ReNika also does outreach on behalf of Harvard College as a member of the Harvard New York City Schools Committee.
