After over seven years of litigation, on July 12, 2021, the federal court overseeing the CSC System Administrator overtime lawsuit granted final approval to the parties’ class and collective action settlement. This means that, if there are no appeals of the Court’s order, settlement checks will be mailed to eligible participants in approximately late August 2021.
The settlement covers individuals who worked for CSC as Associate Professional or Professional System Administrators during the relevant time period and who meet other eligibility criteria. More details about the settlement are included in the Notice of Class and Collective Action Settlement.
The name of the case is Strauch v. Computer Sciences Corp., No. 14-cv-956. The Court presiding over the lawsuit is the Honorable Janet Bond Arterton, Senior United States District Judge for the District of Connecticut.
