Don’t try to get the strippers at the Penthouse Executive Club to talk dirty to you.
Leslie Liwanag, a former dancer at the Hell’s Kitchen jiggle joint, claims the bosses enforce a laundry list of rules — including “[no] profane language with a customer,” according to a lawsuit filed yesterday in Manhattan federal court.
Dancers are even banned from wearing “certain kinds of underwear,” the court papers say. They can wear thongs; they cannot wear G-strings.
The class-action complaint specifies no damages, but charges the skin palace with shortchanging at least 100 gals by holding on to a 20 percent premium patrons are charged when they buy the “Executive Money” used to tip dancers.
The joint also keeps a portion of the tips when they’re exchange for cash at the end of the night, the suit says. And it stiffs the showgirls out of minimum wage and overtime pay claims Liwanag, 31, who worked at the mammary mecca from 2005 until last year.
“Dancing at an exotic nightclub is not an easy job, and the labor laws apply to these workers just as they apply to everyone else,” said Justin M. Swartz, one of Liwanag’s lawyers.
A woman answering the phone at the club said no one there would comment.
