ALIAKSANDRA JAIN is a partner at Outten & Golden LLP in New York and a member of the firm’s Individual Practice Group. Since joining the firm in 2018, Ms. Jain has successfully litigated a number of high-profile employment discrimination cases in federal courts across the country as well as in arbitration forums and has reached hundreds of pre-litigation settlements through negotiation with employers in financial, technology, advertising, entertainment, and non-profit sectors. Prior to O&G, Ms. Jain gained extensive litigation experience as an associate at the law firm Giskan Solotaroff & Anderson LLP (“GSA”), where she represented individuals in employment and civil rights cases and consumer class actions and corporations and individuals in commercial litigation. While at GSA, Ms. Jain served as a first chair in an arbitration hearing before JAMS representing a former senior manager against a renowned New York City hotel in a wrongful termination case and obtained a significant damages award for the client. Ms. Jain received her undergraduate degree (“Specialist in International Law”), magna cum laude, from Belarusian State University in 2009, and her J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law in 2014. During law school, Ms. Jain was a New York State Bar Association Kenneth G. Standard In-House Diversity Fellow at Pitney Bowes, Inc. (a Fortune 500 company), participated in the American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Mock Trial Competition, and was enrolled in the Equality Concentration focusing on employment discrimination and civil rights litigation. Before law school, Ms. Jain lived and practiced business law in Belarus and interned at the International Arbitration Court at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
