JULIO SHARP-WASSERMAN is an associate at Outten & Golden LLP and a member of the firm’s Class Action Practice Group. He represents employees in a wide range of class action cases, including class actions challenging employers’ improper criminal history screening, collective and class actions on behalf of workers denied overtime pay, and litigation challenging overbroad non-disclosure agreements in California’s technology industry. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Mr. Sharp-Wasserman worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Lawrence E. Kahn in the Northern District of New York, and as a fellow in the New York Legal Assistance Group’s Special Litigation Unit, where he represented people experiencing poverty in varied class action litigation. Mr. Sharp-Wasserman received his B.A. from Pomona College in 2013, and his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2019, where he served as Notes Editor for the Science and Technology Law Review. During law School, Mr. Sharp-Wasserman worked as a law clerk at Bantle & Levy LLP, interned at the Legal Aid Society’s Employment Law Unit through Columbia’s Low-Wage Worker Clinic, and conducted research on domestic human rights issues for JoAnn Kamuf Ward at the Human Rights Institute.
