Outten & Golden LLP uses Short Messaging Service (SMS) and Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) technology to contact individuals who have provided their phone number to the firm via our intake department and website, and other online forms, referral sources and advertisements. The types of messages we send include case updates, legal alerts, and marketing messages that are meant to inform employees about legal issues that may affect them. By opting into our SMS and MMS service, you agree to receive messages from Outten & Golden LLP under the terms outlined below.
Program Details
Outten & Golden LLP’s SMS & MMS service is a standard-rate, recurring program. Message and data rates may apply. By opting in, you consent to receive pre-written messages from Outten & Golden LLP.
Consent and Opt-In
You must expressly provide to consent to receive SMS & MMS messages from Outten & Golden LLP and can opt-in either by contacting us via phone or website form. Outten & Golden clients can also opt-in to SMS and MMS during their intake process.
Customer Support and Opt-Out
Text messages can be permanently ended by replying STOP to any message, by emailing marketing@outtengolden.com or contacting us by phone. Opt-out requests are typically processed within 24 hours.
Supported Carriers
Our SMS & MMS service supports most major carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless.
Message Delivery
Outten & Golden LLP, and supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy Policy
In order to provide our legal services, we may collect data such as your mobile phone number and carrier’s name. We may also collect personal data that you may choose to provide to us via SMS and MMS, including but not limited to your name, location, job title, salary, and employer’s name. We maintain strict privacy policies and will disclose information only as required by law.
Security
We store your data using industry-standard security measures to protect it from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This includes encryption of your data at rest and in transit. Access to your data is strictly limited to authorized personnel who have a legitimate business need. We implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) and role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure that only those with proper clearance can access sensitive information.
Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute regarding our SMS & MMS service, we will resolve it through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Changes to Terms
Outten & Golden LLP reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via the privacy policy on our website or through SMS.
